The Challenge

Our challenge in branding The Bank was to show that this venue serves up beer, bites, and bar vibes—all in a 72,000 square foot repurposed bank building and beer garden. We needed a logo that's simple, memorable, and screams, "This place is where you want to be!"

The Solution

At first glance, the brand mark we designed showcases a classic bank facade, but look closer and you'll see a clever twist: the colonnade is comprised of pint glasses, with the negative spaces forming the silhouettes of liquor bottles. We chose a heavy slab-serif font to give the brand a rock-solid foundation. This place isn't just bold—it's fun, unique, and unforgettable.

This isn’t just a logo; it’s storytelling at heart. It says, “fun is the currency here, and you’re going to find surprises at every corner with every visit.” It’s about blending tradition with a modern, twist and creating an experience that’s unforgettable.

The Results

We created a cohesive primary brand that communicated it's offerings to locals as well as Hilton Head visitors. We continued the banking theme with the design of the sub-brands, offerings, and even the food trucks parked under its roof. This strategic positioning boosted brand recognition, crafted a unified identity that clicked with diverse crowds, and was wuickly understood in the marketplace. Now, this collective of brands thrives like a well-oiled machine in a competitive location, all while showcasing their unique personalities.
